Bach-in’ it in the Grove

Jan is away in Denver for Tennyson’s (sister-in-law) baby shower this weekend. That leaves all the boys here in the Grove for a bachelor’s weekend! So we are here burping, farting, not making our beds, staying up late cheering on the Wild, and eating cookies all weekend…all the stuff we can’t do while mom’s here!

Today we joined up with the Bakke boys (Spencer, Lukas, and Landon) and went to the Eastman Nature Center. The boys loved seeing the turtles, snakes, mice (not with the snakes), and petting a salamander. We also played with antlers, bones, feathers, and saw a woodpecker and a great horned owl! The boys had a great time.

After all the indoor play we went on a treasure hunt (letterboxing). We found the box and the boys got their stamps – they thought that was pretty cool.

That looked like a great trip!!!
It was 80 degrees here in Denver! Looks like it was cold there today. Thanks for being the best dad in the world, Chris! I don't know about all of those activities that the 'boys' partake in while mom is away!!!
