Dinner Conversation Tonight

So, I'll set the stage...tonight we were sitting and having dinner and Cayden was telling Chris about how he got to "milk a cow" at school today. What they had was a cow built out of wood (I think it was about the equivalent of a sawhorse with a head and tail). And then they had created utters with rubber cloves filled with water that hung underneath. Then they had a bucket to squeeze the fingers of the filled gloves in to.

Okay, so this is was the conversation:

Cayden: "They had gloves and you squeezed the rutters and it squirted in to the pail"
Chris: "Wow! Cool...did you know though that those are called utters?"
Jan: "And rutters are the things on airplane wings that make the plane go up and down"
Cayden: "No Mom, those are called elevators. The rutters are on the tail."

It was pretty darned cute, and I knew Grandad would be proud...so this one was for you Grandad!
