Growing and Learning

This morning was a bit of a tough morning. Dylan (who will be 2 at the end of Oct), is starting to figure out this work thing in the morning.

When he woke up I went and got him and put him in bed with Jan to watch the news (one of Jan's newly found perks with a tv in our bedroom). I laid there with them, all dressed to go to work, for a little bit while Dylan gleefully identified as many things as he could on the tv. CAR! RAIN! PIZZA! (I can't believe how many pizza commercials there are in the mornings). All the while Dylan was cuddling up with me and trying to get me to lay down on the pillow.

When I finally said it was time for me to go to work Dylan started getting clingy and upset. We finally made it to the back door where he wouldn't let go of me but when I picked him up he wouldn't look at me or give me a kiss! He was actually mad at me for leaving. :( It was really sad, but it was cute to see him growing up and learning to express his feelings. They sure are amazing little guys!
