This morning right after breakfast our doorbell rang. Chris had just "gone upstairs with the boys to comb hair and brush teeth"...or so I thought.
When I opened the front door, I found a sweet surprise that the boys (all three of them) had worked diligently on last night while I was gone getting my haircut.
In the basket was a colored May Day picture from each of them, a sucker and a hershey kiss (a treat they each picked out for me from the treat bucket), and this picture from them. Too cute. (Did I say my husband was awesome. :) )
So, I thought we needed to spread some neighborhood cheer to the boys' neighborhood cronies (Hadley, Will, Lukas, and Landon) since it made me feel so special.
After school this morning we made some chocolate chip cookies, colored more May Day pictures, put them in baskets, and delivered them (complete with ringing the doorbell and running and hiding) to their two houses. Here is a pic of the boys just before they delivered their first set.
It was a great May Day! I hope you had a great one too.

That was so neat! How fun!!! What is May Day anyway?
Isn't it fun? The boys are adorable. We really get into May Day with our friends. It is a blast! Happy May Day! :)
