Betsy and Betty (Jan's Mom and Grandma) got to come visit and it was a fast week with lots of activities! We celebrated Betsy, Jan, and Cayden's birthdays, watched some soccer, and traveled to Chisago Lakes for our third triathlon this summer! It was a fun week!
Here's Jan and Betsy on their dinner cruise around Lake Minnetonka to celebrate their birthdays. We got to see Terry Redlin's house, the Dayton's house (the department store), Jimmy Jamm's monster house, and many others. The sunset was amazing and cruise was relaxing and fun.

We had Cayden's birthday which was themed a Wild Kratts party. Jan and Betsy created another amazing cake - this time it was an alligator made out of cupcakes. It was so hot out that instead of games for the kids we had different water stations outside. Super soakers, a pool, sprinkler under the trampoline, water relays with leaky cups above their heads and the big hit was a water fight with me. I had the hose against 13 seven year olds armed with super soakers! We all had a blast!
Bentley hung out and played with his volleyball.
I had some vacation days and got to see Cayden play soccer for the first time this summer. He was having a lot of fun and scored a couple of goals but this was the best picture I could get of him kicking it in!
We headed up to Chisago Lakes for the tri and stayed overnight in Forest Lake. Betty had to head back to Cody early so she didn't make the trip but Mary Jo (my mom) came with! Here we are out for dinner.
Betsy, Jan, and the boys by Forest Lake - we spent some time just throwing rocks.
The Vos' surprised us by coming down to cheer us on and visit since Betsy was in town. It was great to see them and more fans encouraging you always helps during the race!
We did our race with our good friend Kristen Gendreau again - everyone did well and had a great time! Jan and Kristen were 10th and 14th in their age group respectively and I had a 12th place finish in my age group.
