Taping/Sanding Inside, Painting Outside

This week we have started mudding/taping/sanding on the drywall. Not sure when they will be finished.

They had to fix a leak in our roof this week too. It was leaking into the 3rd stall garage. Poor guys had to rip off some siding and really dig to find it, but they did and it is hopefully fixed for good now.

The outside is completely painted with the main color, and Dave is working on the trim today as weather permits. He may/may not get it finished today because there is a threat of rain. Probably more like Monday. It looks really nice!

Next week the concrete guy, Mark, will be coming back to clean mortar off of the rock, and the gutters will hopefully be going up sometime next week too. At that point the outside will pretty much be finished. We will have to front door to stain and that's I think about it.

Kitchen cabinets are coming along. Dean's update this week was that they were finished with the cupboards and were working on the doors. So that was good news. We also had to get him a stain color this week.

All in all it's really coming together. Somedays seem really crazy with trying to stay ahead of everything. But I think we're almost there. We're almost through the craziness I should say and then it will dramatically slow down because the contract work will be done, and then we're on to finish work ourselves which obviously isn't going to get done in a real hurry. :)

I will write more later.
