10 Years, Baby!

Today Chris and I celebrate 10 years of marriage (we chose this day to get married because it had a bit of significance...Jan for January and the 8th because 8 was my Volleyball number in college (Chris claims it was so he could remember the date...hehehehe).

It has been the best 10 years of my life! I'm so thankful to be married to someone who is my best friend, an amazing father, and most of all the perfect partner for me. Here's to lots more, Chris!

To celebrate the day we are going to a Rock Climbing gym tonight to prove to ourselves how out of shape we are (we probably won't be able to walk tomorrow), and then maybe out to dinner if we have the energy. This summer we are going to take a trip somewhere, but haven't decided where. Right now the top of the list is Sonoma Valley and the Bay Area of San Francisco. We'll see.

He came in the door at lunch today much to my surprise with flowers and a balloon. The bouquet has Lily's in it which we also had in our wedding bouquets...they smell so good. I've attached a pic. :)

Two better individuals could not make a better unity. We are so proud of both of you and happy for your happiness. We are planning on calling tonight to extend our wishes to both of you, but if we miss you please know that we love you, are remembering this day 10 year ago, and pray for many more years together. Congratulations!

I would have to say that Sonoma was awesome! My mom, sister and I went last March, and it was so fun. I would have loved to have Brian experience it, but that is also on our list together. Happy Anniversary! :)
