Skiing

We decided to take Cayden out to try downhill skiing. He thought it would be fun to try and Jan and I figured we would be out there for about 30 minutes at best. We headed up to Elm Creek Park Reserve which is about a mile north of our house to hit the slopes (I say that plural because there are only two runs). It is perfect for kids to learn on.

After 4 hours of skiing we had to TELL Cayden we had to leave...even though he didn't want to. He absolutely loved it. Later that night I heard him say things like, "maybe we should buy a pair of skis for me" and "is that skiing place open tomorrow?". So we are headed back there this Sunday. The weather is supposed to have a 50 degree swing (-20 this morning) and be in the 30s. We are even toying with trying to get Dylan to try it. Last week there was a 2 year old on skis there. Dylan is a little "particular" about what he does though and we aren't sure we are ready to take that on....we'll see.
