Happy B-day (on the 19th) to my Lovely Bride who has now turned my favorite number (think football). We celebrated by going out with the boys, Grandma, and Granny B to a fabulous Italian joint (Broders' Pasta Bar) for dinner. Here she is enjoying her dessert.
Today we celebrated Cayden's fifth birthday. We started out the day with his favorite - themed pancakes. I did my best to create a birthday cake and, bless his heart, he said he loved it! Anything looks good covered with syrup and whipped cream!
Then tonight we celebrated with a small group of his friends. Jan, Betsy, and Betty put together a great Magic School Bus themed birthday party. We read one of the books and stopped between sections to have games. Then we had our school style brown bag lunches and played some more. This is Cayden and his friends with the outstanding cake Jan and her mom made.
Cayden graduated to a bigger bike for this birthday courtesy of Granny B, Grandpa Dan, Mom, and Dad. It's a little bigger than his britches but he can handle it, plus we'll get more years of use out if it.
Finally on an unrelated note, I had to share this video with you. Dylan decided that Bentley needed help eating his food the other day! :)

Happy birthday to Jan and Cayden. I was thinking about you both on your special days!!! :)
The birthday celebrations were so much fun! The more I think about Cayden's Magic School Bus birthday, the better it gets. Great idea, Jan and Chris! Thanks for letting me be a part of that.
Loved the video clip of Dylan and Bentley. So cute!
Love to all!
