Framing - almost done, Plumbing started

Monday was crazy – they did a lot of the plumbing and got almost all of the framing done. There are only a few very minor parts to frame and every wall will be where it is when we are done.

Tuesday was equally as busy. The plumber got a lot more work done and almost all of the limestone was put on the front of the house!!

So now we have huge holes in the floors everywhere so they can run the plumbing from upstairs and I think we have reached the pinnacle of destruction and disorder in the house. There is an 18 inch wide hole in the floor the majority of the length of our upstairs hallway. So Jan and Grandma are all but boxed into the bedroom! :) There are also these floor caverns all over in the old kitchen and living room.

Since we are loosing power for most of the day tomorrow while they move the electrical panel, Jan and Grandma are relocating to the Hotel Davis. Since it is suppose to be hot and rainy the added benefit of air conditioning will be a nice touch for them.
