New roof...and more plans

Today when I got home they had all of the roof over the new kitchen/living room area covered in plywood.

The east window in the current kitchen is now a lovely view of plywood :).

We met with Scott tonight. He said that they will be removing the bay window in our current livingroom tomorrow as well as angling the corner (south-east) of our current living room. Check the final plans to see what I'm talking about.

He also said that this weekend they will be putting the new roof on and getting the in-floor heat set up. Monday the concrete guys are pouring the floor and the framers will be inside re-framing our upstairs into a laundry/master bed & bath! That means this weekend is major demolition in the kitchen! All the appliances and cabinets will be going out and the floors will be coming up. This is when our living space gets cramped!

If anyone is interested in helping take down the current kitchen please give me a call. Jan can't quite help like she used to - that tummy of her's seems to be getting bigger (or maybe her arms are shrinking, who knows).
